An elegant set of heavy wrought brass hardware from the 1880s known as the "Roanoke" pattern. All parts are in excellent condition. The 2 1/2 by 5 1/4 inches escutcheon plates depict stylized leaves and flowers in a background of flowing curves. Two of the plates have key holes and two are without. All plates have a lovely aged dark patina. The lock faces are also of the same dark patina and measure 1 1/4 by 7 1/2 inches. All aspects of the lockset are in perfect working order, including the push button accessed pull lever. However, the key is not the original and requires patience to operate the lock.
