Handsome bronze knobs with outstanding three point backplates and highly ornamented key escutcheons made by Russell and Erwin in the late 1870s. The mortised latch is also the original embossed match for the set. Knobs measure 2 1/4 inches in diameter. Plates are 2 1/2 by 5 inches. Key escutcheons are 1 1/2 by 2 3/4 inches with swiveling keyhole covers. All pieces are in great shape with only light wear.
